Lately I've been feeling like a kid in a candy store, when it comes to new game releases. It feels like the game companies are hard at work keeping my free time filled with digital carnage in a variety of settings. Among the upcoming games I have a two top entries that really have my interest piqued.

They are:
Brink:

Anyone else interested in these titles or have other ideas for upcoming titles that have them anxious to grab a mouse and keyboard or a control pad (Jeff!) to play?

I'm more of a history/strategy gamer, the D'ni history draw me to Myst and Uru. So I suppose it's not such a surprise for me to mention the release of Civilization V in about ten weeks. I don't have a picture, but I can submit the official site;

Yea, it's insane! But ironically the Civ community have actually wanted hexagonal maps. I'm not so hysterical about it, I play Age of Wonders, so I'm used to the hex map. I've also got the Civ podcast, apparently the staff say it makes the world more 'organic' with a hex map.
