<! :#FF8C00--> "color:#FF8C00"><!--/ >Well, it turns out my budget has finally found some looseness and I can afford a few things. So, I acquired iMyst. Being that I'm a Myst fan and I have an iPhone, it seems only right that I get it.
I haven't played very far, but the noticeable load before Achenar's book animation came up suggests that Riven might be a little beyond what the iPhone can handle.
One complaint I've seen leveraged against the game is that there's really no suggestion on which way you can go, and I understand that point. As I play, getting in and out of the bookshelf has seemed bit less than intuitive, and turning isn't making as much sense as I thought it would.
Graphically, it definitely looks dated. I think Riven would really shine if they could get it on the iPhone, but Myst feels far too old to me. Truth be told, I never really liked Myst. RealMyst was good, but Riven is what got me interested in the Myst franchise in the first place.
That's all my thoughts, for the 1 or 2 of you who are interested in reading them. <!--colorc--> <!--/colorc-->
